I agree Sandy. I have pieces planted in several places around my yard, all are in bloom now, even the one that is in partial shade. The bees are so happy.

Great photos Chris. When would your first frost arrive? I love Neon, not just for it's wonderful color, also for it's shorter stature. Your Xenox is lovely.

Ofm, I think 'Red Cauli' is somewhat of a semi-upright. It seems to have an arching form to the stems.
It also seems that the more sun they get, the straighter the stems stand up. Of course they will need more water in full sun, but not to much. Otherwise they seem to have a problem with staying healthy if they get too much water.
I like your Linda Windsor. Has it bloomed for you yet?

Interesting. I'll keep an eye on it. So far the red cauli/turkish delight/autumn joy/autumn fires all seem to have about the same "shape" - although the joys (for whatever reason) seem to be the sturdiest of the bunch. Of course, my plants are all still pretty young so I can't wait to see how they fill out after a few years.

@goldfinch4 : I like your xenoxes! Especially the color contrast on the neon. I have a couple rainbow xenoxes planted, hopefully they do as well.

Lynn first killing frost will probably be late Oct./early Nov. Probably have a few light frosts that will take out some of the more tender plants within the next month. Supposed to get lows in the 30s Fri. Night.

Thanks, I love the Xenoxes too. I added more tall sedum to my collection this year but they look pretty sad right now.

Those are beautiful Chris!
ofm, red cauli and turkish delight will always be droopy, they are semi up right. They look good hanging over a rockery or edge of a large container.

Another one that starts out upright, but then lays over from the middle, is 'Plum Perfection'. I am not found of the flopping over, but his one will stay in my collection for the beautiful leaf color and sprays of delicate blooms. Very different from all the other large leafed, large bloom cluster sedum.

I like the petal/leave color contrast in Brilliant. Dynamite looks like it's going to be a vibrant one! Hurray!
