it's time to share pictures of your new iris beds. I know some of you have put pictures out and about, but lets get them all in one place so we can see where you planted all those new irise. Here's my two. All the rest went into existing beds.

I can't fix it since I'm not a moderator of this forum. Polly might be able to take care of it (although I'm not entirely sure what forum moderators can and can't do). Dave can certainly fix it if no one else is able.

Made a little one in the last couple of days. More grass gone. Big Grin Resetting the overall borders. Pretty much every place you see Iris foliage in the photograph was planted this year.

well, you accomplished a lot in the heat we were having. I am slated to do a lot of clean-up in the beds next week if the cool weather holds.

My new "beds" Hilarious! I had several more orders and trades since these pictures a month ago... There's hardly enough room to walk now... I have managed to get some of these in the ground.. but I keep getting more.. Should I have my head examined?

Tom -- I love looking at your pictures. I've spent so much time in Wisconsin, it's like looking at pictures of home.

Sherry -- I'm glad that you're the one who is gonna plant all of those Irises. Whew!!!

Debra -- your gardens show such love and care -- you just know that a gardener lives there. Lovey dubby

I'll try to get pics of mine in the next couple of days.

Little by little, Mary Ann... I can't do a marathon like these guys do, planting 75 in an afternoon... When I moved here in '97, I had over 350 plants in containers. It took some time, but nearly everything got planted (some I did kill)... I still have a Siberian in a container from that move.. Finally repotted it last year.. Yes, I do practice plant abuse..

You are not alone Sherry....by the time this is done I will have around 300 potted iris...not to mention the many other plants I have potted...still waiting for their 'in the ground' homes. Lately it seems like I'm digging more up for surgery and potting than I am planting. Thumbs down I had an area that was getting too much water for this time of year. If they live I have to find them new homes.

Sherry, your potted plants are looking good, and I'd guess you can control the water better that way for now. They should do well for you.
Debra. You have so many new beds, nearly the whole thing looks new. It should be a big show come spring.
Mary Ann, looking forward to all your progress on the fence row, and iris row.
I'm recovering from last night's rib fest! Ate way too much, and of course the wine went down way too easy. I get to pay the price today! Glare I think this is the best batch of ribs I've ever made, I tried a different approach this time. Anyway, today I will be digging irises for two boxes to ship. I picked 3, 5 gallon pails of tomatoes yesterday that I need to can, and if time allows finish mowing the lawn. Tomorrow I take the dog to the vet early to start her on insulin.
Looks like we may have had some frost, it's 30 degrees here now. That means the sweet potatoes will need to be dug, and the tomatoes will end soon. Sad Thumbs down

Tom, will the dog be able to take the insulin in pill form?
