That green stuff comes as a result of something we call rain, I know that it's not something you get out West, but here it's quite common.

I hope you get some too, and not all in deluge from remants of hurricanes. We had a wet summer so things are still very green. If rain could be boxed and shipped you guys in Cali would be getting lots of mail from the eastern iris folks!

In my area it was predicted to be around .03" to .06" of an inch. So yeah, not much at all and it will burn off and dry up by noon.

Thanks for the wishes, the prayers and Tom's pink tutu dances. Let's hope Mother Nature is listening. If I could box up sunshine and warm weather, I would be sending it your way too.

It's clear and sunny here...but at least the temperature has dropped! It's only supposed to get up to 88 today, which is a huge improvement over last weeks' temps.

I listened to the rain from the comfort of my bed.. It was over by the time I got up.. Great gardening weather today.. cloudy and 72 degrees. Slight breeze.
