I thought I had ordered Daughter of Stars, but apparently it fell off the list again. What was I thinking?? Confused

The southern areas usually re-bloom in late October or November. You still have plenty of time for rebloom Leslie. I hope to see a few dwarfs re in my garden

Dwarfs sure do re-bloom Theresa. Here are two lovely little dwarfs one SDB Smell The Roses

and MDB Trimmed Velvet

Thumb of 2014-09-30/grannysgarden/6667fe

I was surprised to find MDB's that re-bloomed but there are quite a few that do. These two bloomed the last week of August which is very unusual as they always bloom in November.

Daughter of Stars is much lovelier in person, er flower, than she is in a photo. she seems to glow from within and the standards seem to float a bit.

Here's a picture of my Daughter of Stars -- in bright sunlight. You can see the striations on the falls that Bonnie was talking about.

Is Daughter of Stars a mini? It sure looks big.

All are very pretty blooms. That Trimmed Velvet is a very dark, dramatic purple.

Daughter of Stars (a Don Spoon intro from 2001) is a Luminata that re-blooms. City Lights (Dunn 1991) is just a bi-color. Both re-bloom, but Daughter of Stars "shimmers" in person that photographs just can't translate. Smiling

I love luminatas because of their shimmer quality. Heaven knows you can spot Montmarte a mile away because of it's glow. I am excited that Stout's sent me their blue SDB Quench as a bonus because it is a luminata too! Can't wait to see how it blooms!

I have a bunch of them and they are neat.

Silent Wings, Elizabethian Age and Telepathy are a few others that I have that fit this category.

Gads! My bad. I have Silent Wings and Telepathy to look forward to next year as well! Hurray!

I have a few SDB that are suppose to be rebloomers: Guise, Raindance Returns, Tremors, Blueberry Tart, Dark Crystal, Jewel Baby & Teagan among them. I have many tall bearded that rebloom, just not in my yard! LOL

Jewel Baby has never rebloomed for me. It is a very dependable spring bloomer and makes a lot of increases but has never re-bloomed here. A lot of the Spoon SDB's have been bred to re. I bought a few of his this summer going for a bit of turquoise in my garden and they are supposed to be re's. They will not re this fall as they have just gotten established but next fall..... I can only wait and see.

Is luminata a division or a description of how they look?
