Rita, I just got my MALAYSIAN MARKETPLACE from Maryott's yesterday -- beautiful plant! I'm potting it up until Sept. to get everything through our hot summer months. And who knows -- I've had new plants from Maryott's bloom in August and Sept before, so maybe I'll get a bloom on it yet this year!

Cant wait to see your pics of it and hopefully we can steal a fan of it from you in a few years!!

Betty, those Maryott daylilies often bloom that first summer. He must sprinkle them with magic dust to get them to bloom!

And here at last is the post I was waiting for today! Don't know what I'm gonna do when your fabulous bloomers decide to take a rest this summer. And thank heavens you're into those late bloomers! I really love your HARVEST HOUSE too -- is it as bright as I think it is? That last one is really beautiful too. I still cannot get over how lush your blooms and foliage are -- just not the same here in hot old Bakersfield!

Harvest House just glows. I do love the hot colors and I am just in love with that one.

I am truely happy that years ago I really got serious about the late blooms because it does so much for my daylily season. My regular season bloomers are blooming now for weeks but new first flowers open now each day as the lates get into the show.
