We live in a variety of growing conditions so it is a real pleasure to see things growing elsewhere. I am sometimes amazed to see a large specimen of a plant growing somewhere vigorously that is a fussy little house plant here.

Made me look too. 24 pages and counting...and lots of thumbs up but not many acorn tips...I'll keep working at it, maybe my next article will be better.

Judy, I thought your article was very nice. However, I won't be doing any mapping today... it is 35 degrees now and no warm up expected Smiling

Judy, I really liked your map your garden article. I'm a bit of a data freak and this article inspired me. I keep a daily garden journal in evernote to record all my activities. Great for going back and seeing how my timing and planting worked in previous years.

Now I am going to add a garden map every year as well.

Guess that's why ATP appeals to me. Love the plant database.

I'm a database guy at a hospital. I'm always looking for ways to incorporate databases into my hobbies. Your Garden map idea fits right in.

My wife says I'm the only guy she knows who loves databases... Rolling my eyes.

Sorry, way off topic.

I've never even questioned deleting the system messages. I too refer back once in a while & like having them to refer to. I've always felt that Dave is the one governing it & it's his space we're taking up with cached system messages & he must have the room or he would let us know. As long as Dave is in the driver's seat I'm not a bit concerned with it. I figure Dave must have a couple billion terabytes (or more). Hilarious!

This did prompt me, like so many others, to go look. Blinking 438 pages??????? Blinking Blinking Geez Louise!

Everyone's page are based on what you have your page view set as. I currently have it set to view 400 items per page. So your large page number may be because you have your items viewed per page set lower.

I should think this is an issue that ought to be addressed; all these pages of system messages MUST have a negative effect on the server system memory. I know servers are huge, but still...they are finite.

It is likely that at some point I will go through and delete from the system all the messages that are over a year old or something like that. For now, these system messages use so little space that they are only a fraction of a percent of space used on the ATP server. One jpeg image uses thousands of times more space than a system message.
