That confirms my impression that there is no single supplier that specializes in Burseen irises. I guess we have to 'shop around' if we want to add a variety or Tom's creations to our collections.

I just looked up the rest of the ones you listed that I had not looked at earlier. Wow the beard on Elvis Dreamer is wild...and beautiful! That one will be another contender for my wish list! I just have to post this one for the others...so they don't miss it!

I noticed that a lot of the Burseen irises are missing photos in the database. I hope that when they bloom you can take some photos and add them to the database!

The colors on Cowabunga are stunning! That's one I had overlooked!

On another note....this is not a Burseen iris...but I forgot to add it earlier because although I bought it last year it hasn't bloomed yet. I bought it specifically because of the fantastic beard! The color balance in the beard isn't the best...but here are two photos from Jedlicka's Blue J Iris and from Schreiner:

Oh well, there you go... I need another orange...

I have so many oranges...the brighten up the whole yard! It's not even my favorite color, but with irises I just can't seem to resist! Maybe I can pass it off as a sports fan thing...Go Giants!
