And I'm in total agreement with your opinion on Mesmerizer -- it's a knock-out!!! I have it too -- and I love it!

I was gifted with a plant very similar. It is more of a cream than a white/white.

Conjuration is one of my favorites.. Such a great performer! Very deserving of the DM.

Triple Whammy and Mesmerizer did not bloom for me this year Sad There's always next year!

I added several Space Agers this past year... Beards, flounces, pom poms, horns, spoons.. Love them all.

It is disappointing when they don't bloom Angry
I am hoping next year at my house, the iris will be much better! I am sure that the second year I should see more blooms.

Many iris take until the second year, but then when they bloom you forgive them instantly for the wait!

I especially forgive them if they don't bloom the first year. Assume they are saving their energy for increases and bloom season next year. Smiling

I thought I would pop into the iris forum since my irises have just started blooming. Here is a new one for me this year. It was planted last autumn and it has given me this lovely bloom this spring. It is Standard Dwarf Bearded 'Extraterrestrial'. Just look at those beards!

Zencat said:I ordered Witch's Wand this year because of the purple falls and orange beard. So pretty together. All the ones mentioned above are gorgeous. But then, I never met an Iris I didn't like. Big Grin

Oh yes, but it is saddening when they belong to someone else . . . and not in my garden. Sighing! But to house all of the gorgeous ones that I have seen on this forum, I'd have to have 5 acres, a bottomless pocketbook and a new body. Guess I'll just enjoy vicariously. Hurray! Hurray! Lovey dubby
