Alstromeria are on the top of my list of favorite plants not hardy in my zone. I once found a cultivar that was supposed to be hardy in my zone. It cost a small fortune. My neighbor and I split it. But with our killer winter last year it did not stand a chance.

I have several and just love them! Too bad you lost it, maybe try in a pot for bringing inside when it gets too cold.
