I'm about ready to get rid of most of my Daylilies... They're taking up valuable Iris space!

Age-old story, Sherry!!!!

Been doing that myself this year, Sherry.

Ah but Sherry, you need a succession of blooms, the early blooming SD Iris, the bearded, roses, daylilies, the reblooming iris, reblooming daylilies, and all the perennials and shrubs in between. Always something to look forward to, always something to enjoy in our long growing season!
I have a bloom scape on an iris right now, can't find the tag, need to figure out which one it is.

Oh, I don't ignore the succession of blooms.. There's lots going on here all year.. Spring *is* the big bang, but it starts in late February with the Magnolias and Narcissus. Right now, it's the Autumn extravaganza of fall color that's winding down.. and I still have Roses and some Australian shrubs in bloom. I try to plant for year 'round color/food source for hummingbirds. Just a small sampling of what's going on right now.

So found what my rebloom iris is, Fruit Stripe. Not sure if it ill get a chance to show a decent bloom this late but it's fun to have it.

The problem with my property is that there's always more room to plant... and I keep on planting.. and it's still me that maintains most of it.

Not mine Jan but they belong to Fred Kerr's Rainbow Acres, I got permission from his partner Kelly Mitchell to add all their iris and daylily intros.

Fruit Stripe looks really nice. I had just added it to my wish list a few days back. I hope you can get a picture...if not there's always next year!
