I have been slowly working my way back through the photo contest entries and making comments. Several pictures already have discussions started. But I think many more members would comment if they knew this was an option. It is not exactly easy to get to the comments. Also, after I comment and want to go back to the next picture it takes me back to the beginning of the pictures and I have to find my way back to where I was.

@dave is it possible to make a forum for Photo Contest picture discussion? That way I could watch that forum and I would be sure to catch any new discussion.

I am having the best time chatting with members about their photos. I was not familiar with many of the entrants since I tend to stick to my set of familiar forums. It is so much fun getting to know someone through these pictures. This contest really goes beyond the few weeks it was active. This is such a wonderful community

I agree with Jennifer. Having one place to talk about the photos would be ideal.

I know you can scroll to the bottom of the page and see what threads have new activity. And I do use that a bit. But I bet a ton of members don't even see that.

oh and another thing @dave or should I say SuperDave.... is there any way to get back to the photos entered that did not get any votes? I want to comment on them too!

Maybe we could have a mini contest of all the photos that didn't get a single vote. No finalists, no categories, just one vote per person. No "Best in Show" but just a fun time while the frigid weather keeps many of us indoors.

I just want to comment on this particular item, (Super Dave is super busy this week and will hopefully check in soon.) I never open the image from the page I am on, (if I do, I use the back arrow to find my way back,) but rather, I right-click it and select to open in a new tab. That way, once I am done in the new tab, I can close it and I am right back to the same originating page of images. Just takes getting used to getting in the habit of doing that but it reduces that annoying hunt for finding where I left off! Thumbs up

Sticking tongue out yep, I hate it when I automatically just click on it but the easiest way back then is to use your back arrow and if you have wandered several click & pages beyond that, then right-click that arrow for the drop down menu and you can select how far back you want to go.

I learned something new today too. Right-clicking the back arrow feature is nice. Like Sue, I may have several tabs open at the same time, but once in a while I close out the wrong one and really get messed up. Rolling on the floor laughing
