ok - how does everyone get those neat badges next to their location, etc??? Confused
I think you have to tree-mail Dave, cuz he doesn't have time to monitor All these threads Rolling on the floor laughing Whistling

So glad to see everyone! Sorry, but have the fair going on here, so won't have much time to drop in and visit for a few days. It's my niece's last year in 4H and FFA, as she starts college in a couple of weeks, so definately have to be there to show support and help out!

Christine - had to follow your instructions above and I think I have the badges too. Wondered where everyone was getting those. Thanks for the tip................

Welcome! Hope some of you can help me with this. I have a trumpet vine, first time putting on buds this year, and for some reason, the buds form real well, and then when it's about to flower and the buds open, they break off, or fall off, or are chewed off or something. Has anyone with these experienced this? Any idea what the cause could be? I haven't noticed any bugs on it, really, but I've been busy with work and such, and haven't spent the time in the garden that I usually do. I don't think that it's deer or anything similar to that, as the flower parts are easily visible on the ground. Confused Confused

Could be either over/under watering, or a cold snap...... You need to keep them evenly moist and they can stand 1 or 2 days dry, but no longer.
I have a Mandevilla (is that the kind you're talking about?) and it needs watering 3x a week - thoroughly.... I have 3 new buds on it (previously only 1 flower, but I planted it late, so it's recovered now).
You woudn't be talking about a Morning Glory, would you?
There are so many types of "trumpet vines" I think..... Rolling my eyes.
