brr Margaret that is cold. I dont know what the temp was this morning, but it was breezy & I wore a jacket outside to the gardens. the rest of the day it was comfortable... I can handle this weather if it keeps going like this.
Christine.. I didnt know what the acorn was for..lol anyhow thank you, it is a cute little thing. say now what is the name of that daylily in your picture?? that is very pretty.
It is a NOID I got from Kathy (HemLady) last fall on Cubits -- she was getting rid of some and I got a whole bunch -- then this beauty pops up this spring -- it is amazing!!!

a whoppin 65 degrees this morning around 8 am. here it is around 10:30 am and its barely touching 70. but I'm not really complaining, plants can survive in this... & I can tolerate this much more than the triple digits I grew up with in Texas. So I'm enjoying the cooler weather, just added a light jacket

Its even cooler this AM than yesterday, just 43, but it is sunny so should warm up later in the day. You need a jacket at 65 degrees,? gosh I'd be out working in a tank top with that kind of temperature!!!
yeah, my dh says I'm a pansy when it comes to the cooler temps... lol he and my children all run around in shorts & tanks ...not me! it feels wonderful... but just a little too chilly for me to run around with less clothing.
I must be a pansy too and I have been in MN all my life! Maybe I froze my fingers and toes snowmobiling in subzero weather when I was a little kid!! Or maybe my brain!
When it gets around 60 the sweatshirt comes out -- I can still run around in shorts but I love my sweatshirts!!!

Never could figure out why I was born in this climate. Funny too, I get colder in summer cool than winter cold if I'm working outside. Thank goodness for a steamy tub of scented hot water after though!

Yep, and I grow some Munstad that can be dormant under the snow but if I dig down and pick after a cold day of shoveling and plowing still smells wonderful when plunged into a hot bath! Eucalyptyus is my other FAV sent. Can't grow it up here but essential oil and WI made soap works. Want really nice ecofriendly handmade and variety textured soaps and terrific lotion wonderfully scented?: http://www.goodearthsoap.com/ Yep, not your discount store option but well worth every cent. I usually order in quantity and set the open box of extras in front of my heat vent, the scent replaces all of the chemical ones and remains when you need to use the soap.
