Gotta agree with that! I love hot dogs! And I can't imagine raising kids anywhere else. Well, I guess I can, which is why I agree with you. No better place than here to raise kids. Mine are all grown, but I sure wouldn't want my grandkids raised anywhere else

Mini-me is a small standard Doxie. All Doxie. You have to know the traits of the breed. It must have been 110 degrees that day with HIGH humidity for Cave Creek AZ. She loves the heat. She's not mine, thankfully!

Well 110 degrees in AZ is a "dry heat"... right???? I hear we are in for 97 tomorrow and high humidity!! so... what's that like with the heat index -- about 115 degrees!! So I guess we beat AZ! hahahaha!!!!

Also my kids have a fastpitch softball tournament this weekend -- well that should be fun in the heat!

Hi all, my garden could use a little of that sun and heat about now, it's been cool, wet and windy all spring and now into summer!!

It's been really cool here too...everything is WAYYY behind, especially veggies. All perennials have been 'out of order'. I just quit planting and have been relishing the cool for lack of mosquito invasion to use for clean-up. Supposed to have a big humid heat this weekend. Then I will work on the indoor plants...they've only been getting drinks recently. once those critters are about, it is just too painful for a while.

We were cold from Mid. Nov. to Mid June. Finally getting some warm weather but lots of wind. I think I need to invest in some Mini Banana trees and other tropicals and make myself a winter getaway in the basement,. But then I will have to get out the plastic wading pool and put a chair in the middle. Get a funky sun hat and a drink with an umbrella. All the while the H is calling all the neighbors to come over and look at his remodel in the basement

let me know how that works for you! Especially the part with the hubby, since our family room my DH claimed before we even bought the house it's his "man cave" so I'm thinking the tropical paradise wouldn't go over too well And I would love to see the pictures when you get it all done
