Those are some nice ones Debra! I got a few little guys I got from you, Tom & Sisters, in the ground just before the rain last week. Had a hole dug for one more, but it's full of water now.. We've been getting pounded all day. Finally! .. but no more planting for awhile now.

Yes Tom, you're so right. Snowfall in the mountains is key to solving our summer drought - but I sure enjoyed listening to the rain last night. It's as if a curse has been lifted in CA! Hoping that the mudslides aren't horrendous in S.CA.

We got some nice rain yesterday. Today it's overcast and windy, but we have only had a few sprinkles. Hopefully it's not done yet!

Speaking of turtles...I don't think I mentioned...but while I was on vacation I went kayaking (twice) and the second time a sea turtle surface near me! It was so cool to see one up close! I was waiting for it to surface again, but finally gave up.
