Well, I thought about what to do, and all your neat suggestions, especially in view of adding another 500 calories of fat to my diet. Thumbs down and decided to just bolt it down. I can't see adding the calories from bread, cheese, etc on top of the oil. So I pour two TB in a shot glass and slam it. Not bad and I like sesame.

I will take the idea of adding it to my stirfries as a matter of course. I usually use olive oil but it sounds like sesame oil (non-toasted) is a pretty good thing to use all the time. Course, the toasted has better flavor but that's okay.

How about a recipe for Garlic Potato rolls. It is a really good one and very easy to put together. Fairly fast too. I made dill onion bread yesterday and managed to leave out the two TB of onion. Boy did that make a difference. Really lost its 'pow' factor. I can't really taste just the dill. Damien ate a loaf (they are small) last night anyway warm from the oven while watching a movie and drinking some wine. He said he never met a fresh loaf of bread he didn't like. Well, except for some of the door stops that were out and out failures. Rolling on the floor laughing

Garlic Potato Rolls sound great. I love onion and/or garlic added to breads. I add sauteed onions to my cornbread, and sometimes bacon bits too.

When I read this, all I could think of was, "Thank God it's not cod liver oil." My birth-mother used to force that stuff down us when we were kids. YUK !

Good luck to you.

I have heard of it but never have taken it. I figured if kids could choke Cod Liver Oil down, surely sesame oil couldn't be that bad. Hilarious!

Deb thanks you all for well wishes. We are In Florida now basking in 70 degree weather and this afternoon we will be in a 85 degree pool

Cod liver oil. - that stuff was so bad that we used it in a card game. Low had had to drink half a glass of it. If you threw it up you had to do it over again
