Liked your collages... I've done that to be able to place iris, but have been hesitant to post because they're not my pictures.. I've grabbed them from so many sources, and many of the Iris I have do not have pictures up on ATP. Don't want to do the wrong thing...

I see Jan's images.
Go ahead and post them and just add that they aren't all your images. That's what I had to do with these as many of mine are newer so I don't have my own photos of them.
I want to create beds with these color combos.
Sue, I love the collages! The first of the last set is cool the way its playing with complimentary colors, blue/orange and purple/yellow. The second makes me think of berries and wine. Hmmm...why is it Irises often look yummy to me?... and I swear I'm not hungry, LOL.

Placed the Wayside gift certificate order today. All photographs have been borrowed from that site. Have dozens of Iris with which these three will be complementary.

Sue I love the yellow/blue combination. Back when I was a young 'un girls always had hope chests. My mama asked me what colors would I like for my quilts, doilies, tea towels etc. and I chose light blue and light creamy yellow. Funny now that I am an old 'un I still love that color combination.
Debra, what color will the blooms be on your new stonecrop?

Sue, I forgot to ask you, are you planning an all Iris bed, or will those combos be combined with other plants?
I have to do combos, I just can't stand an area finishing it's blooming for the season and all that's left is foliage, drives me nuts, I have lots of daylilies too so I only combine a few then have to plant other things around them, it's a challenge!
I thought so, I'm the same way. And Irises don't leave you much to look at while not in bloom. Ooohhh, I hadn't seen that blog before! Still waiting for it to finish loading, but already saw some beautiful combos!

Sue, I'm green with envy, I've had Molineux for 8 years, and it has never looked that gorgeous. Each year it had sent up a bloom or two, but stayed about the size it was when I received it from Chamblee's. Last year it actually put on some growth and I saw a few blooms, it reached about 3'. I gave it lots of cow poop this fall to say thank you for growing a little, LOL. I need to print your picture and take it out there and shame it, LOL.

Too funny!
Neal, let us know if that works--I have a lot of plants I need to shame with all y'alls pictures! I'd be particularly impressed if a few would commit suicide and the rest would invite some friends from the nursery and then rearrange themselves into more coordinated and complimentary groupings too!
I showed my BF many of the fabulous possibilities posted here and in that blog--oh my!
he still wasn't sufficiently shamed into agreeing to help dig out the fortress of yucca and asclepias...
