Ordered a Pure Joy sedum from eBay and received a Lemon Jade as a free gift. Nice since it is one I don't have.

Susan, that Lemon jade is such a great green color. I just love it next to a hot pink. That was a great gift

Pure Joy is suppose to be light pink and Lemon Jade opens citrus yellow and ages to peachy pink.

This is down the middle of my raised semp bed. Going to have to do something here.

So pretty Springcolor! Even the fallen over one looks good!

Covering some of my beloved semps. Next spring a bit of pruning on those Hylotelephium..

We had some hard but brief rain today and Thunderhead stood up to it. I'm going to divide the two clumps that I have to initiate an extension of the sedum accent garden all along the side of the driveway. It could be that when a clump gets crowded (it happens very quick it seems) this is more likely to happen. At least that is what I hope is the cause of the collapse.

I'm going to give these plants a hair cut about the first of June next year. Staggered lengths, will get smaller blooms but more of them on a stockier plant. Will be dividing as well.

June is always a busy time see if I remember.

I need to prune some of mine back about the same time next year. Maybe we can remind each other Julia?! Beautiful sedums, but sorry they're not playing well with your semps.

This is definitely the year for sedum in my garden. The size of the plants and the color is just over the top with all the rain. My Lemonjade is a beautiful neon green, so can't wait to see the color when the buds open.

That would be great Chris. These plants just got so giant this year. We had a very nice summer and prime weather for them.
