And it is putting on more pink in the last few days with the cooler temps and rain.

I'm guessing this is a tender sedum or Hylotelephium . My neighbor gave it to me after it broke off her plant. It has pink along the scalloped edge and send out the kind of roots along the lower stems that turn into spikey looking things if there is nothing to root in. She says it doesn't get very tall and hangs over the edge of the pot. Anyone know it's name?

Good morning Susan. It does appear to be one of the Hylotelephium types. It should be winter hardy to zone 4. They do very well planted in the ground in full sun.

Hi Susan, it also could be a kalanchoe, I have one that looks like this

Seems to be a bit darker than your pics, but it does grow the very strong air roots!
This is NOT cold hardy and I just brought mine indoors for the winter! I tip my hat to you.

They both look awesome Julia. Do you keep your Sedum palmeri outside during the winter?

Yes, wintered under a glass table outside last year. I think I bought this when we all went to the Camby plant fair years ago. Didn't you buy one too?

Did you show pic of the sorry chocolate ball, Julia? Just curious as to how sorry it can look. I bought one at Salem Hardy Plant Sale that was a beautiful deep dark, dark green and wish it would stay that hue of green but maybe not according to others that have tried Chocolate Ball.

If anyone wants a box of Phedimus spurius 'John Creech' for postage, let me know. I'm going to the post office in the morning and could ship it out then.

Thank you Chris.
And your clump of 'Jaws' has grown beautiful in such a short time.

In our area it seems the cooling temperatures and shorter days really brings out renewed color in many of the sedum.
