Yeah, but in the alps they're covered with six foot of snow . I'm heading out now with a blowtorch to give them a little a little bit of respite from the cold .

when I lurked on in here and read about y'alls being green I thought maybe I was doing something very wrong

maybe I just don't have special -enough kinds plus, and, we freeze 'em good (with or without snow cover--careful with that blow torch Paddy!)

I did a check-see and I have one heuff--which is really quite purpleish; one that might be 'cobweb joy' --a little webe guy that grows kinda like eggs or weird cones in the summer, is all flat and shriveled and sad looking now--is greyish-green; and one really mean one with blood drawing spines that is green with little purple tips beneath those green spines.
It was too dark for pics of that blood sucker--but he got me good when I was trying to clean him up a little I was feeling like a bad semp mommy just leaving them be to the ravages of whatever but then I decided to go ahead and leave 'em be 'til we dry out and warm up a little better

Pacific Northwest people are you all having this crazy rain that Seattle has been having?? Almost nonstop downpour for 2 days now? Crazy...poor semps!

Yes we have Greg. And more to come. We just dodged flooding yesterday.

Lynn glad you didn't get flooded - it really has been some heavy raining! I haven't been to my other semps for over a month, so pretty much will let be what is...I have a feeling I'm going to be taking home a lot of unnecessary labels home with me after the next visit (due to all the "die off") Its okay though, there is always summer to look forward to!

We have another big storm moving in tonight with about 1/2 inch of rain tonight, but tomorrow we are suppose to get over an inch. And our ground is already completely saturated.

Guys it must be my fault because my contractor started a project at the house. Been rain after the 1st few days he started. Julia has a project so going to rain for 40 days and nights. Glad you didn't flood Lynn.
