Yep! So, is there anyone else that would be interested in a Fungi Forum.

My vote vote is 'no'; in my opinion Cubits is the place for fungi; or if on ATP, make a blog for Fungi with lots of comments and photos.

It's not really about vote for are against, but are there enough interested people to justify creating it. Assuming dave can be convinced that it relates enough to plants and gardening to be included. We do have a group of forums called "Not Exactly Gardening" that cover areas that aren't specifically plants or gardening.
I think Fungi would fit in there, if there are enough interested people.

It would be a forum I'd be checking in with. I'm still sorting out the forums. It's sort of a relief when some aren't very active Smiling . Helps me keep up. A couple of days before this thread was started I posted a link to some time lapse videos of fungi growth. I put in the Sandbox forum with the subject tag 'mushrooms/fungi'. I thought it was interesting visually. Not much information, but a good display of some forms growing.

"Not Exactly Gardening" might be just the place for fungi. Certainly bee-keeping, as interesting as it may be, is not a plant either...... Sticking tongue out

You are all making good points. I think Fungi has a place in "Not Exactly Gardening" and I also don't feel like it'll take us down a slippery path toward having a Pets or Electric Wiring forum. Hilarious!

I'll create a fungi forum.

That's the best kind of fungi! Unless you like to eat mushrooms, which I love.
