It's not really about vote for are against, but are there enough interested people to justify creating it. Assuming dave can be convinced that it relates enough to plants and gardening to be included. We do have a group of forums called "Not Exactly Gardening" that cover areas that aren't specifically plants or gardening.
I think Fungi would fit in there, if there are enough interested people.
