Another one that is doing really well that was on your wishlist last year (Greg) is Polish Princess. If you still want it I will send it too, and if anyone else likes it I should have several to share.

I love her. She should go next to a Slovak Prince and live happily ever after.

Marilyn, that would be great if you eventually have a rhizome for me. My mother's family was/are Polish. In fact, her grandmother never learned to speak English and my mother's household was bi-lingual.

I'd be happy to send you each a rhizome. I'll keep track of it for now...can't do anything about it till July or August. In fact as I went to update my list I see I already had Polish Princess on your wishlist Debra....I just didn't notice it earlier!

I also grow it Leslie. I thinned it to share last year but it should have increases this year. I will know by growing season. smiles.

I will probably have plenty, so when the time comes we can see what's most convenient, depending on what boxes are being sent to whom at the time!

Look at all these plans for trades!

Hi Marilyn, I just got around to reading your thread, I agree on it being a really good idea. Here's what I have this year and my comments:

Baltic Star PBF OMG what a performer, every year! It seems to grow in my sunny location and location with some shade during the day. I got tons of it. It reproduces FAST and lives through the rabbits!

Los Coyotes: Grows fast for me, I put it in some of the worst soil you can imagine, ( I knew nothing about iris at the time) hard clay and it just took off! I divided it last year but I bet I have plenty to share this year.

Pop Star: I got it from Stout and it bloomed the next year with several buds. Unsure about dividing it this year too new yet

Sun and Sky: Blooms every year, good increaser, very nice plant, I should divide it this year so I'll have some to share

Uncle Charlie: Bloomed the next year after planting with several buds. Really nice looking plant. I'll have to check this spring but it had more than doubled it's size in one year

Vapor: Impressive grower for me in both semi shade and full hot sun. Late bloomer but it has bloomed every year. Doesn't seem to increase as fast as the others above but what a show. I have extras to share

If you have an extra rhizome, Susan, I would love a piece of Uncle Charlie.

OOOhhh, @MileHighGardner, I would be interested in that Baltic Star and Vapor!!
I will be updating my Trade list this year once I confirm bloom tags if you you want to trade.

Susan, Thanks for the great information!...and I would love to do trades with you on any of those. I'll have to update my trade list in a couple months when the irises have started growing again. There are a few that I know I'll have...

Susan, I think there are many who are quicker on the draw than I.. Sun and Sky have been on my list for awhile, as well as Pop Star, Uncle Charlie, and Baltic Star. Take a look at my plant list... Anything 2013 should be big enough (there are some exceptions), and feel free to ask about the newer ones... Some of them made it into the ground I know Paul Black, Conjuration & Revere have put out a lot of growth. There's also a lot of historics...

Marilyn, I got Chocolate Ecstasy from C&T last fall, so you can take me off the list.

It's a nice sunny day and I've got a bunch from this year all lined up to plant... Then I remembered we're playing this afternoon... No time to get dirty.. Should have done it yesterday when it was cloudy and miserable (I know, it's all relative)... Maybe tomorrow afternoon....
