Very pretty Phalaenopsis Betsy! Now, if I were you, I would repot it now to your preferred orchid media, so the roots can have a chance to breathe. Most of the time, the containers are stuffed to the brim with sphagnum moss and it is slowly killing the roots.
I have a bloom
I never have anything bloom this early , still 12 degrees outside with 5 inches of fresh snow
My bloom is a small hardy geranium I brought inside, because it is not hardy to my zone , never thought it would bloom inside, just trying to keep it till spring . Very surprised it has enough light it is in a north facing window.

Somehow the blooms looks like a cousin in features with my Pinguicula, minus the veination . My Pings are almost done now..been in bloom since Fall.

Interesting plant with a pretty bloom you have there, I have never heard of it before, but then I have noticed you have a lot of interesting plants.

Thanks Arlene and Karen
Arlene, it is really hard here too when our very hot and dry conditions return. I am now learning a lot that during our winters, it is at its happiest. But during Summer to early Fall..hands off in watering, and must be in shade here at that time, so it will not burn.
