Lynn, MR can take over that easy chair at your house that Marilyn is leaving empty...that's if Petey isn't laying in it or bouncing up and down on it... Hilarious!

Well I hope you don't miss lunch at my place or I'll be eating clam chowder for 3 weeks! I mean i do like it but still. Am doing the recipe without bacon MR. You're safe!

Anyway I might appoint Greg as "head of the cat herders" over at Lynn's!

The weather is going to be 72F and sunny! How great is that?? Our weather -weary Easterners will get a special treat. The warm weather should bring out a whole bed of Pacific Coast native iris into bloom too. They are SO lovely.

Hurray! Hurray! Looking forward to all the fun this weekend. We must watch the time, we were a little late last year and missed the walk around the yard.

Commute time again from Lynn's to Kevin's?

Watch your time, leave room for the chowdah , keep the camera at the ready and semp on. Whistling

Oh and be sure you take good care of MR so she can enjoy all the great times too. She is going to love the view from Lynn's back porch and Kevin's patio. (not much of a view from the couch but it is comphy.) Sorry Denice is going to miss the fun but Sharon and Greg can keep the watch on the time, maybe.

Bev, be sure to pack enough batteries, or is that Jim's job? Hilarious!

Whew! I'm getting dizzy reading about all these preparations! nodding You don't need to fix anything special for me, Patty and Kevin. And if the weather cooperates, everyone will think I'm a regular human being! Whistling

Yesterday it got up to 75 here -- a record! Thumbs up -- so I was in normal human being mode and out digging dandelions, trimming dead stalks and generally getting the front flower beds looking decent. I'll admit to being a bit slow today, since after a winter of absolutely zero gardening, I'm just a tad out of shape... Rolling on the floor laughing But knowing it would be cooler today, I took advantage of the warmth and figured it was worth the push! Hurray!

I am very much looking forward to this. Thank you all for making it possible! Thank You!

Talked to the folks at Robert's Crossing last evening and they are all ready for us! For those of you who have not been, I love the "shed" (it looks like NO SHED OF MINE!! Think "hunting cabin". ) as it allows us a space all to ourselves to visit.

They are printing up special menus for the event. Both the Fisherman's stew and salmon have no red meat in the preparations and the Fisherman's stew can be prepared gluten free. We are doing a salad first course and a dessert choice at the end.

Well now it looks as though everything is coming together and we are going to have lovely weather, great food, great people and lovely plants! What's not to like?

Hurray! super excited! Pouring rain yesterday and today, getting all rained out for sunny weekend Thumbs up Greg ~ not toooo nervous about the Special Guest because he/she can't be more special than y'all. (I wonder if it's Don from SMG?)

Drivers ~ there is no street parking allowed here but just past my house there is a parking space on the right and one on the left. Our house is gray 2 story.
