Lisa, you could make a new theme bed using daylily names for something he likes...sports, sci fi, animals...I've got Dances with Giraffes on my mind from the "D" thread. My husband actually likes my enlarging of the beds, less grass for him to mow.

Already tried that! Got a few I put together and called them "his". It included big sexy and one smiling dude. Then one day when he was being not so nice, I added Mean as a Snake to "his" garden.

I have Buttered Popcorn and is a favorite in my garden. I didn't think I would ever like yellow daylilies since I had so many Stella de Oro's before, but BP is larger and really brightens up an area.

Vickie, I always felt the same about yellows until I was gifted with BANANA PEEL. The flowers are huge, the substance so great, it clumps up fast, and it blooms forever. What else could you want, lol.
