Primal Scream took 3 years to bloom, mind you I moved it twice! I used to buy from eBay but you can never be sure what you are getting. Now I buy from trusted sources and have never been disappointed. Some daylilies never perform here like they do in US, I need to know that they have been trialled in UK.

A couple of heavenly daylilies bloomed in 2015 to go along with 'Holly Dancer' which was already here. So here are:

Congratulations on your first registration, Ann. Hannah Banana is so lovely! I like how the colors lighten toward the edges and its beautiful form and green stripes emanating from the center. It also looks very big! Can I ask how big is it?

Thanks everyone for the nice comments! HANNAH BANANA is about 7" Karen. The 'Wildcat' started with Willie who is our K-State Wildcat's mascot. Wildcat Starry Nights was going to be 'Starry Starry Night' but it was already taken :~(. So, I decided that I'd just use the 'Wildcat' for any purple daylilies that I register since in Manhattan, KS we 'bleed purple'.....

Yes it is Betty. It's out of Baby Blue Eyes. Not sure it will ever get registered as the bud count is quite low. Although shade could have something to do with that.... I love green throats too. They seem to show up a lot in my seedlings. I seem to end up with a lot of purples/lavenders too.
