In Taffeta Patterns, love this one. The colors and pattern change throughout bloom season depending on the temperature. 1st image was 7/20, 2nd on 7/23
Thanks for your kind words Vickie and Char. My urban setting makes my collection far smaller than most on this forum.
I'm in awe at so many of your sculpted blooms Char. Impossible Dreamer is definitely a beauty.
Thank you Zoia, Nan and Jill for the comments on In Taffeta Patterns and Impossible Dreamer. And to everyone for the thumbs and acorns! I enjoy coming in every evening and seeing what you all have posted.
I only have one new "I" for 2021, and unfortunately it's not a good picture of a not very good bloom. But I've seen pictures of it where the blooms are beautiful! So...
Even though the picture doesn't show In Your Eyes at its best, it is easy to see that it is a beauty.
Is the wide yellow ruffling called "chicken fat"? I heard that description at a club meeting years ago and thought it was not a very complimentary description. Haven't heard it much in the last few years, so was wondering if anyone else uses that term.

I've also heard that term but don't think of it when I see that beautiful edging. But there is a MUCH better picture of IN YOUR EYES, taken by Luddy Lambertson, here in our database.
Isabelle Rose I received late last fall. It was my 2nd best performing DL with 30+ flowers blooming for five weeks. It only got to about 29 inches in height. The flowers are incredible and got to the actual size. Everyone stood out. I highly recommend this one. It's a garden standout for sure.

Isabelle Rose is one I bought for my birthday last Sept
I just KNEW I had a better picture of IN YOUR EYES... I've been going over my pictures for the last couple of years and finally ran across it -- and it's a real beauty! I really love this daylily.
