Lady Lucille by Blooms of Bressingham. Someone else posted this one earlier in the thread, but I love this picture. It's unregistered, but this one is such a beautiful color.

Lemonn Vista. This is another unregistered one, but it's one of my favorites. I love it so much I got a second one. It does beautifully for me in my hot, humid zone. It's a prolific bloomer, is highly rust-resistant, and the color is almost luminous. It's hard to capture it in a photo.
Thumb of 2021-10-22/DeweyRooter/bd978c

Lavender Vista: I think this is part of the same series as Lemonn Vista but am not sure. I've seen its name spelled "Lavenderr Vista." think's it's registered but am not sure. The database lists its hybridizer as Otte. It's not nearly as good a performer as Lemonn Vista (at least not for me).

Laura Harwood. I've had this for a couple of years now, and it finally deigned to bloom a little this year. Am hoping for better things next summer.

Lullaby Baby. I wish I had a better picture of this one. I do really like it.
Thumb of 2021-10-22/DeweyRooter/6b3e9c

Little Grapette. I don't have this one anymore as it struggled here, but I did get a nice picture:
Thumb of 2021-10-22/DeweyRooter/ba8d9d

Little Business. another one I had to dig up and get rid of finally. It was very prone to rust.

You can see I don't have anything very glamorous. But I love them.

I will have some more L's to add next year as I have several new ones I just planted.

This one should be renamed 'Whereda Dots'

Hemerocallis 'Lotsa Dots' 7/2021 Dily- (Murphy 2004) Narrow yellow Daylily Dily, Mature size: 44", 5.5 in. Yellow dotted with brownish purple dots. Green throat, USDA Hardiness Zone 3, Michigan Bloom Week ISO WW27, In Garden Bed U2 for 21 MONTHS (LisaNGA). Planted in 2019.

Woodhenge Gardens: Murphy, '04 - 44" Emre 5.5" Dor. Dip. Narrow Yellow dotted with brownish purple dots. Green throat, very different look.

This is the supreme gardener's plant, with the best foliage, good scapes, perfect flowers, and very vigorous growth. The flowers are unique, the base color being dark yellow, but with large areas of the petals having hundreds of purple to brown dots. The sepals are edged in the same dots. These are regular, consistent patterns. The edges are ruffled. The green throat sets off the colors well. The scapes are slender and strong, and there is instant rebloom here, making for a long season. There are two branches and a terminal Y, with 24 buds, on average. This plant is unique and will not be mistaken for another. Parentage unknown.

Maryl, that is a stunning picture of a beautiful bloom! Don't let that one go Smiling

Frank, after looking at the database for Lotsa Dots, I see what you mean about the comment "whereda dots". I have seen the dots in my garden, but a lot of the time, it looks more like stippling, which according to the AHS dictionary, is: "On daylily flowers, stippling usually refers to small dots which may occur in the eyezone, over the entire surface of the tepals, along the edge of an eye, or only at the tip of the tepals." https://daylilies.org/daylily-...

This is probably my best picture showing the larger brownish purple dots.
Thumb of 2021-10-25/blue23rose/07d0a7

But a lot of the time, the blooms look more stippled with a few large dots.

Little Sumpin, so glad I brought this one home from Curt's a few years ago. Cute blooms with a wonderful frosted glass texture.

Not exactly what I got, however, in the first year here Shrug! :

Although I can see it has gone from 1 to at least 3 fans this first year which is nice.
It was not fertile as a pod parent, and the pollen was pretty bad aswell, except for a single pod on a NOID.

Next pics show some fun throat extras, and a hint of diamond-dusting (might have to click on that lower pic to make it out).
