Your welcome Jo, the stay a pretty good size. You will love it!

Just ordered some giant EE from bill. I had them last year against my fence and they were great. The kids loved them. Decided to get some of his mixed caladium bulbs too.

I would like to plant some of garden milkweeds to help with butterflies. But I am almost afraid to order plants in the spring as I don't think our ground will be ready. We no longer have our leanto greenhouse to help preserve them until open ground would be ready.

JoAnn the GJ here.. I didn't like it so much and needed the space where it was.. since the hummers didn't like it I pulled it.. and tossed it on top of my rock wall.. it landed on the fabric and there is mostly rocks underneath .. after I replaced it I must have forgotten to go pick it up.. and it stayed there.. you know the thing rooted through the fabric and survived for years.. yeah it's a tough one .. figured it found it's own home Whistling

I am getting excited to see my Tulips I planted. Also some new White Oriental Lilies to look forward to. I have a wishlist but haven't bought anything yet. DH doesn't work in winter so I have to stick to a strict budget. With the snow it looks like I'll be stuck to the budget a bit longer than usual! Sad

Do you have problems with the red lily beetle?. Our lilies are gone now & I won't replace them.

I have the beetles but never see more than 5 in a season because I spray. I use SEVIN.
First thing in spring when I see the tips of the lilies come up I drench the tip and around the tip to kill the larve.
I missed a lily last year and found a lot of damage on it. Hope it comes back.
I also drench the iris at the same time.
I have too many lilies so hand picking is out of the question and the investment cant be left to organic Neem oil which isnt a satisfactory solution for me..

I think the Neem oil brings more in! I found that heavy stalked lily varieties like Conca d'or and Time Zone don't get much damage....the beetles love the Orientals the best!

Yum, strawberries! Wish the family's blueberry farm would plant them, but I know they are a lot of work......there are raspberries at the farm, and hopefully, this year, peaches....unless they froze to death this winter! Still have not gotten my canna bulbs.....maybe tomorrow.
