It seems like all the prices are high this year! I received an order from Brent & Becky's yesterday....mostly glad & dahlia bulbs, but one Mauve Majesty alstromeria......don't know if that will live long either, but I like to experiment......

UGH! Blinking No! LOL! Never developed a taste for okra. Good luck though! A few people grow it in the community garden, which opens next week. I can ask around for you.

Never tried it as a veggie, had it years ago for the flower....pretty....don't know that I did anything special to it. I had it in a pot on the patio.

The seed pkg said to plant in a large pot to accommodate taproot, so I will do that....also said to pick pods when young.....hope I get some pods!

Okra has one of the prettiest flowers I have ever seen. It is usually yellow with a deep maroon velvet center. I have not done well with it except for the Annie Oakley variety that can make pods with less heat and a shorter growing season than most.

I love okra. It is hard to get organic.

I received my hosta 'Anne' that I sent for...chose it because of my granddaughter, but I love it....has a lot of yellow on it!

I would like some dwarf hosta to edge out a garden......have a gift cert. to a nursery in the next town, so maybe later today I'll go 'look'! Never expected this baby hellebore to bloom....Winter Jewels, picked it up last year at WFF''s big sale......
