It is slow to get started, but a reliable rebloomer. My computer hates that word & underlines it. I think the Winterberry catalog is $5. Their website just has the newer plants.

Lucy, If you click on the underlined word, below the list of word suggestions that pops up, there should be a prompt that says, "Add to dictionary". If you click on that, your computer will no longer underline that word. It will think that word is in the dictionary and spelled correctly. There are a lot of gardening terms and names the computer dictionary does not know.

Thanks, Jan.....I didn't know that either! I have room for a few more clumps of iris, & I really liked the ones I saw on the Winterberry site. I have a few fragrant ones, but they have no names.....one is a grape-colored, grape- scented one.

Guess you spelled it right this time, or you have a schitzo computer. Shrug!
Try intentionally misspelling it and see what happens.

"rebloomer" - I just got "re bloomer", "re-bloomer", "bloomer" for suggestions, and right below those , "add to dictionary"

I wonder myself about the fragrance listings. I added a bunch of different daffodils at one point that were listed as fragrant but most of them I have to stick my nose in to notice. I want that wafting fragrance going on in my yard at all times and I figure if I have enough of them maybe it will be noticeable enough.

Also the way most of the daffodils smell, I think I'd prefer them to be scentless. Lol However the Variegated Pallida I have has a very noticeable grape scent. So I'll keep my fingers crossed there are some nice smells there. Big Grin

We no longer grow 'Ask Alma' because of the club iris sale plants often move out of here. Nice to see it as we knew the hybridizer.
