Nice ones Dave. Static has a cool pattern to it. Thumbs up

Not many new "S's" but here's a few favorites...

Patterns...
Screen Pattern, not the happiest plant in the garden but it earns it's spot with awesome patterned blooms. She's So Outrageous, moved last fall and seems to like the new spot. Smugglers Notch, consistent pattern every day.

A few Sculpted forms...
Sculpted in Vermont, Snarky, Southport and Starched Petticoats, all cristate forms.

and Sinister Variations, registered as pleated but also showing some cristation.

Silver Waffle showing nice crepe or waffle texture, tall and well branched too.

Wow, the Ss are such a huge daunting beautiful category! I've been dithering with posting as more than half my S blooms will have been planted last Summer or are coming next Spring. Maybe I'll just list the ones that have bloomed in my garden first.

San Leandro, Wild 1989

Sandra Elizabeth, Stevens 1983

Siloam Double Classic, Henry-P. 1985

Siloam Sambo 1982

Silver Fan, Peck 1968

Spacecoast Sea Shells, Kinnebrew-J. 2003

Super Medallion, Dove 1986

I have 25 S Daylilies that either haven't bloomed yet or are arriving in the Spring. That's almost twice as many as I just had pictures for. Should be able to post a bunch next Summer! Hurray!

I've liked Sailor Sky since I added it. I like the color, and it did so well for me last year when other Late bloomers were struggling because of the hot, dry summer.

I have a Ton of "S's". nodding

~ Sandra Elizabeth
~ Stella De Oro >>>> a good naturalizer. I have a long row of Stella's with probably tons of volunteers. The clump has been in the ground for 10 years.

The first pic is a Stella I dug from the naturalized row and planted it in my partial shade garden. I'm thinking it's a volunteer. Notice the Daddy Long Legs spider on the bloom???

I've loved Sailor Sky too ever since I've had it. It really grabs the attention of people who see it. I love all four of Ginny Pearce's daylilies that I own. I want more of hers!

Greg, that picture of Starburst Fruit is awesome!

Ian, looks like you've got some good ones there. I know a lot of people brag about Sandra Elizabeth!

I did a search and don't believe Swashbuckler Bay Boy has been mentioned. Here are two pictures of it in my garden four years apart.
Swashbuckler Bay Boy on 6-12-16 at 8am. It was under a Japanese cherry tree back then and this picture was taken with my Rebel T3i.
Thumb of 2020-12-09/blue23rose/ef0ab2

Fast forward to 6-23-20. I thought I had given all of this daylily away, but I found a piece of it growing under that cherry tree. So I dug it and moved it to a spot with full sunlight. This daylily is an EMO and looked like this at 6am in the morning! I got a new camera (T8i), but even so, some of my other old pictures of SBB looked this color and you can also see the different shades in other pictures on the NGA database.

What was I thinking when I gave this one away! So glad it made a surprise return.

I agree Sometimes, once a clump is dug out, it can be a bit surprising to see a fan emerge from the ground, not knowing you left a DL crown behind.

Well, it's late enough in the season and I'm needing do pics enough that I will dive into the most prolific, gigantic category of them all... S...

Some of these were left off the first time, some of these are coming.

Satin Bird, Child's-F. 1982, planted last September

Satinique, Wild 1982, planted last August

Seashells and Lace, Bell-T., 2011, coming next Spring

Signature Truffle, Kirchhoff-D. 2004, coming next Spring

Silky Twilight, Trimmer, 2009, planted in September

I think I'll give the Siloam plants their own space

Sir Modred, Webster, 1990 planted in August

Scottish Fantasy, Moldovan, 1996

Smoke Scream, Gossard 2004, coming in May

So Many Stars, Kaskel, 1999, coming in May

Sound Bite, Trimmer, 2013, coming in May

I'll put the Spacecoasts in their own category too. Ok, enough for now. There's more lots more...S...ssssssss
