Beautiful blooms everyone so many pretty ones. Shirlee I really like Sarah Starchak especially the second pic . Is that its normal or is the first one? Your in my zone so if it grows for you it should for me. Think it is going on my want list.

Got so excited to put SS on my want list before I forgot, I didn't post any of my S's I have 28 of them counting the 3 that are coming in the spring. That is about 1/6th of the total daylilies I have. I have pics of 15 the rest are new and haven't bloomed for me yet. I will post my favorites:

after seeing your earlier post, and I have some flowers showing long pistils, but later pics of the same flower do not, so I thought
it might be a problem with some of the blooms. Anyway, glad to read your response.

Betty, your picture of 'Sunflower Blues' makes me drool!

I am so far behind on posting pictures. But I am hoping to eventually get there:) I saw this when looking at my "S's" and decided to show pictures of one "S" daylily where the angle of the picture can really tell the story, especially when it comes to leaners.

Here is Small World Wiggle Wiggle - a beautiful large purple that is tall. I really do love these blooms.


Now here are two pictures of Small World Wiggle Wiggle taken on 7/14/19, but from a different angle just one minute apart. The first picture makes this daylily look good, but the second picture shows that the scapes cannot hold up the blooms. I got this plant in May 2017 and am hoping for better results this year. But I was also told, "once a leaner, always a leaner", so I am not going to get my hopes up too high.

Betty OMG so gorgeous Soaring Silver doesn't even look real amazing. You have another of my have to have daylilies Split Review. Have tried twice to buy and they tell me 'oh, the last little one died' checked the LA and the one woman had sold it last year, so I asked if she still had nope sold it all. To make a long story short is it doing well for you? Two of the growers were zone 8 and one was zone 6 would love to know if it does do well some place to keep my hopes up of eventually getting it.

Thanks everyone. Marcia, I hate to tell you this -- but I think my SPLIT REVIEW has now died. I just checked it this week, but there doesn't appear to be anything left of the crown/base in the soil...

Hope you didn't lose your plant, Betty. It hurts to lose
any of these lovely flowers.

Vickie, I had some seedlings that leaned this past season,
and knew the parents did not. We had so much rain in
the early plus part of the season, that the plants grew
really, really tall and bushy.

So this season I'm hoping to see
some improvement to discover if the abundance of rain
was the culprit. And, if it's one you love, you may want to
stake the plant and enjoy it anyway, and I may do the same.

I am totally amazed by the quantity and quality of all your contributions.
I'm dazzled and speechless.

Shirlee, staking may have to be my solution with my leaning Small World Wiggle Wiggle. It is a gorgeous bloom:)

Sailor Sky - what a dramatic color! The second picture shows Sailor Sky and My Wish Tonight, both from the hybridizer Ginny Pearce. I love them both!


Salieri - just showing how dark this one is- it is next to Kathy Perkins and in front of Intimate Interlude for comparison. It does get that 'slick' look on hot days.


Salieri-it can also get a nice chocolate brown with a little edge sometimes.


Seal of Approval - a rust bucket a few years ago, but it was gorgeous last year.


Seattle Dreaming - Love this bloom on top of some strong scapes.
