I think I may have identified two mystery roses in my garden planted before I started labeling.
Please take a look and comment.
Hybrid Tea
Exhibition form
Pink blend, white reverse
30-40 petals
3-4 feet high
faint scent
dull medium green leaves
sepals are often long and a little leafy

I don't remember anything about the sepals on mine, but you're otherwise batting a thousand.

Rose (Rosa 'Editor Tommy Cairns')

This rose used to be very popular, but I hardly ever see it anymore.

Here's a link to the US Patent for ETC.

http://patft1.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO1&Sect2=...

The description of the sepals in the patent is different from your description above.

Thanks
I just read the patent description and noted the difference in sepals.
I did note a match to my sepals in photos on the Help Me Find site though.
I met Dr. Cairns at Rose Hills in Southern California when he taught the American Rose Society Judging course I attended. I'm going to contact him with my pictures. Surely he will be able to help with identification of a rose named after him. I will let you all know what he says.

Hilary ...

Forgive me, I was so busy thinking about sepals, I forgot to welcome you to ATP.

Welcome!

Smiles,
Lyn
