I just read the patent description and noted the difference in sepals.
I did note a match to my sepals in photos on the Help Me Find site though.
I met Dr. Cairns at Rose Hills in Southern California when he taught the American Rose Society Judging course I attended. I'm going to contact him with my pictures. Surely he will be able to help with identification of a rose named after him. I will let you all know what he says.
