If I understand it correctly a veriegata is a subset of a bicolor. It's specifically a bicolor that has yellow standards and either brown or maroon falls. In other words all veriegatas are bicolors, but not all bicolors are veriegatas

I think Mary Ann wants us to list the bicolors that are not considered veriegata, as I think she wants us to list them on a separate day. I'm not sure if the term veriegata is really used that much anymore. I may be wrong.

A Neglecta is a subset of a bitone. (falls and standards are different shades of the same color) Specifically it is a bitone with in the blue or purple colors. In other words all Neglectas are bitones. So all neglectas are bitones, but not all bitones are neglectas.

Tom, thanks for posting this. Since I'm still new to the world of Iris I'm going to have to print this out to understand and remember all the descriptions. I think I'm more of a visual learner so I might even print out a photo of each just to help me remember.
