Ceejay.. I have been lurking.... I told myself i had to cut down on the RU's... I just couldn't keep up..LOL... But TY for the invite... if I have more plants to survive than what I am thinking I'll have I just might take you up on it! we're about 1 1/2 hours from the Woodlands!!

Bubbles... Mine is coming as well, so that will be good, that the men will have others to keep them company. I am sure i will get a great big smirk from mine, but gosh the prices are too good to pass up.... ... that's my story, and i'm sticking to it!

Lee... I was so upset when I found out they were the same day, and that I was stupid in not remembering LA was the same weekend. You know I luv ETRU!! It's the closest to my heart! And of course the people the best..LOL

Well, Becky, you are so close you just HAVE to come. You've probably met a lot of us at College Station, or ETRU...
Please, don't worry about the plants. I don't know if I'll have anything other than yellow rainlilies! But it's a great way to renew old friendships and start new ones - but of course, you know that.
And don't forget the Arts Festival too...and the Mall...and Market Street...and many, many great restaurants.

That is always the best part of the RU's... you get to meet the ones you've been talking with... NOT that the plants don't come a close 2nd..LOL... I so love the plants that have been given to me from my friends.

Hi, from Devers, Texas..Oh..I was at Randy's house too..it was hot muggy! But I enjoyed going to Zone 9 Tropicals as well. Bought alot of gingers from him too..I am located way down here in the southeast corner of Texas by Beaumont. I am making my rounds on here at Cubits.. slowly but surely finding my way around!

I started a "snake" forum to tell our snake stories. I know you have good ones and I want to see 'em. Lee...can you cut and paste your copperhead story from DG? And don't you have one, Ken? I'm sure visitors to the Cubit would enjoy these tall tales of Texas. Anyone else?

When and where is the ETRU being held? I have been to 2 of them - the fall one was hotter than hedoubletoothpick.

I have a couple of snake stories along with photos but someone took them off of Dave's Garden because they said some folks my find them offensive. LOL I was offended by the snakes and I would not have chopped their heads off if they had not stuck them out and scared me to death. Snakes and her eggs coming out after an attack with the trimmers.

Feel free to delete this one also if it offends anyone. As for me and my gardens, the only good snake is a dead snake. Sorry folks but there's too many deadly snakes around here to try to make sure it's a bad snake. My best friend stayed 3 days in the hospital last year from her copperhead snake bite.
