I bought some Anemone bulbs at the end of last year and forgot to plant them. They would be getting ready to bloom shortly. If I plant them now will they still bloom?

Probably not, sorry. But if I were you I would still plant them so you don't forget again this fall. It won't hurt them.

I think you're supposed to soak Anemone bulbs before planting, but I won't swear to anything. You may want to do a little research on that. Smiling

Definitely soak the anemone "bulb". It's probably very dry now, so wrap it in a moist (not wet) paper towel in a plastic bag for a couple days, then soak for another day before planting. Sometimes a very dry bulb that hydrates too quickly can be damaging. Also, "up" is not the pointed side of the flattish bulb. The point goes down.
