Sunny here after a cloudy morning. It is still outside, but I am sure if I went outside with my camera, the wind would start blowing. That is what has happened the last few days. Supposed to be 70.
Any day you wake up on the sunny side of the grass is a good day.

OK so I froze to death under that vent in church this morning. Glare Walked outside to an overcast sky with 91 temp. I was no longer freezing. Blinking Whistling

When Mark was in the Persian Gulf one time, it was about 115 degrees or more. Can't remember now exactly. And, being on a ship, it felt hotter. They pulled into port somewhere, which I think was the United Arab Emirates, and Mark and a bunch of friends went out to dinner, because they heard that the AC was always on high. They about froze to death, and it was in the 70s! Got outside after dinner, and just about dropped dead from the heat! Made me think of your day at church, Linda!

It's nice outside today. Much cooler than it has been, but it isn't bad. Might have to swap out my sweat shirt for a flannel shirt!

Looks like a nice sunny day this morning, hopefully not as windy as yesterday. The wind blew down my trellis that is attached to my back porch overhang so I have some repairing to do. Garbage cans were blown over, plastic pots strewn across the yard. Goodness, I have some work to do.

It was wild and windy here yesterday too! Today is sun and cloud, breezy, chance of showers late in the day, and 38f so far.

Margaret, I think your wind made it to my house today! It's supposed to get to the low 70s though, so the wind won't feel too bad. Then it drops to the 50s again for the rest of the week. Yesterday was beautiful! Mid 60s, and very little wind!

Don't like it when it is too windy. Especially in the winter when the wind is cold!

It's warm (low 70's) and dry here. No outlook for rain. So I finally made a couple of shallow flats lined with rubber pond liner to put my pots of daylilies in. The flats catch the water that used to run through the pots. Then the pots slowly suck it back up. It's astonishing how much the daylilies have greened up in just over a week. The foliage looks better than it has for a long time (back when we used to get winter rain). It should help them get through the long, dry summer that's coming.

Everything seems early. No daylily blooms yet, but the iris are starting to go. Our first LA iris bloomed today and it's not even April.

Just the opposite here, everything is late. The spring bulbs are so late coming up, no daffodil blooms at all yet, not even buds showing. No daylily foliage as yet. But the crocus are mostly up and blooming. Since I have a lot of crocus now, at least I do have spring color starting up.

But it's cold out, just still feels like winter. Still waiting in that spring weather.
