Southside rose garden today. I punned the roses just about too the ground so you can't see them. You only see the crocus blooming cause I have about 600 of them in there. Whistling

I guess I need to go out there and trim up the honeysuckle vine on that trellis some also.

To show how behind everything is as far as barely growing this spring, here is the central part of the kitchen raised bed Terraces Garden. Stuff is barely comming up!

Rita, maybe mother nature's definition of perfect isn't the same as yours. She handed me your weather last year--everything late. This year we're right on time. Maybe she just likes a little variety!

Mother Nature surely does like to mix things up. So far it just doesn't feel like spring. But the crocus are blooming, it means spring must be here or at least coming shortly ha-ha. And you know that after the long winter (they all feel long to me) I am so really for some spring blooms.

Our spring is late too. I have crocus and snowdrops blooming but daffodils are probably another week off.

Rainy here today. Going to be a rainy week but I don't mind rain, sure better than snow.

I am in Pittsburgh for a week for a funeral. Everything looks brown. They are calling for a high of 50°F and a 50% chance of rain.

Sorry for your loss, Kelli.

Raining here a little bit today, and temps are much colder than they have been. The 10 day forecast shows it down to the mid 30s for a low every day. That will be a bit of a shock! Highs are in the 50s, which will be an even bigger shock. At least we've had a couple of warm days, so that I could lots of yard work done.

It's not particularly warm today but the sun is shining. West Michigan is one of the cloudiest places on earth, especially fall and winter, so seeing the sun in the spring is a big deal.

Forecast calls for sunny and 60 tomorrow-- fantastic!!

(Of course rain/snow this weekend but I'm not going to think about that)

Margaret I feel your pain. Had lows in the teens here last week which was bad enough I would have cried if it snowed also.

Raining here but I see wet snowflakes mixed in. Early this afternoon I worked in the garden and now I am, stuck inside. Just seems like spring does not want to ever get here this year. The crocus flowers were open this morning but all closed up now.

Yep, that it is Linda, nodding although it is starting to slow down, and I don't think it will stay on the ground too long. Shrug!

We're now getting pounded by rain, and there may be a snow/rain mix for tomorrow. Blinking Margaret, do I have you to thank for that? Whistling Hilarious!

Nope, it is Mother Nature you can thank, Natalie, and I will thank her when it moves on, hopefully not your way. Whistling Hilarious!
