Yes! I like listening to different accents and pronunciations. My DH was talking to a coworker from N.C. He said that was a far by his place. He said it took him a few minutes to figure out he said 'fire.'
Bonnie, do you have Merchant Marine? I didn't see it on your plant list. It bloomed mid-tone blue in the morning, had only a slight purple hue by afternoon. Would that count as close enough to all blue?

Yes, it would Debra! And I do not have Merchant Marine. lol
A friend of mine from Georgia was looking for a house in AR and the seller told her it 'absolutely has no flaws in it!' She drawled 'what in Heaven's name do all y'all walk on?'

Bonnie--that's Thornbird for you--it does funny color changes in different soils. Is one side sunnier than the other? so the flower has more time to expand. Ask the space age people in your club.

TB Ballerina Girl is strutting her stuff. This iris never fails to bloom. I have it in a nice iris bed and growing in moss and clover. It blooms in both areas.
MTB Dividing Line, more purple than my photos show
MTB Missus Bee
TB Ozone Alert. I cannot capture the green in this iris
Are you expecting more rain? Just wondered if that is why you don't want them to bloom. My dwarfs are pretty much done. Rain hurried the demise of the last blooms.

What I mean when I say I hope they do not bloom themselves out is I hope every little increase does not put up a bloom stalk. Next spring there may not be little or no bloom if that is the case. I have a few that have already bloomed on every fan available. When I send a rhizome in trade I hate to send a little one that has bloomed as the person receiving will have to treat it like a mother rhizome and wait for increases to mature enough to bloom.
