Petal Pushers had spoons on a couple of flowers, while the rest of the stalk bloomed without them. We had a heat wave during that time and blooms were opening fast and shriveling fast.
Thanks again Tom, it's a beauty!

Thanks Rob. It has been hot here this week so Petal Pushers is opening and fading fast here too.
Bonnie - it must be growing on me a bit because I keep trying to figure it out. The falls are so open and lovely.

Isn't It Something?:
Can you spot the issue with this bloom?
And look how different it appears in sun and shade:

Love Kevin's Theme.....
Can't spot the *issue* with the broken color Iris -- probably because I don't love broken color Irises -- sorry.................

I missed the double beard. It's cute!
I know what you mean about sun vs shade shots. In this one of Batik, you can seen the difference on a single bloom. Almost a different color.

I think that really shows up in the purples especially Celia. I like the changing aspect it gives to the garden at different times of day.
And yes, a double beard! That kind of year!!

I do, too, Leslie. I go out a few times and do a walkabout. I see new colors every time.

I am going to make a new post for the next one because, well, it's a Burseen you all have probably not seen.

Thanks Pam. It was a last minute purchase last year from Wild Iris Rows after Greg Hester told me it was a great grower. He sure was right.
