Thanks Mary Ann, Debra and Tom. Isn't it wonderful that we don't have to choose just one. Monday night the Utah Iris Society is having a meeting and we'll have an informal show. Top 3 get cash prizes. It should be a good show because of the early season. I will take pictures. Wish Ozark Rebounder would rebloom in my garden

There are far to many nice iris for any one of us to grow. The beauty of the iris threads and the data base here on ATP is that I can see and enjoy pictures of many iris that I will never grow. I had a friend who is gone now who grew over 400 cultivars and added new things each year. His garden was just a few minutes from my home and my work and I visited often. One day a light went on in my sometimes dense mind. If Ray had a nice clump of a wonderful iris I didn't need to grow it. I could see it ever day of the bloom season in his garden. ATP allows me to visit the gardens of all my ATP friends and see lovely iris that I will not grow.
I guess you're saying we should keep up with the nose pressing? I try not to grow things my neighbors have. I plant different things so we don't look all cookie cutter.

Omigosh -- you just described the pitiful condition that we're all in. No matter how much candy we have in our bag -- there is candy in the window that we DON'T have!!!!
Thoughts become things -- choose the good ones. (www.tut.com)
I love all of the little irises pictured here! Paul, you mentioned an auction and I know there is a large rhizome sale around the Salt Lake City area in July. I would love any information about these. I live near Logan, Utah.

Hi Neighbor......The iris sale and auction is Sat. August 1st , begins at I0:00 a.m and is held at the Sugar House Garden Center. 1602 East 2100 South, SLC.....I will let you know more later....
Thanks for the information. I will mark it on my calendar and hope I will be able to attend. I have gone to the one here in Logan a couple of times, but sometimes the summer just seems to slip away so fast and I am busy with other things.
