I'm not a good picture taker. I'm a point and shoot person. Some day maybe I will take more time.

With the cameras these days almost anyone can take nice photos! I have yet to try this one in Auto mode, but I think after the new wears off a bit I will try some of modes other than Manual.
Just incase someone out there (and you know who you are) is reading this, just about anyone these days can take nice pictures even with a point and shoot camera. HINT ! Smiling

I don't even use a camera anymore. I use mostly my iPad. It takes good pictures, it's just composition and lighting from the user that is the problem! Hilarious!

Well it maybe a cheap pocket camera, but it takes great photos, as I was saying earlier, the new cameras are so much better and much easier to use than the older ones.
iPhone or iPad, it makes no difference I still enjoy seeing the photos!

I take lots of pictures but most don't get posted. My daughter (jvdubb) and I send pictures back and forth since she's in MI and I'm in GA, so we get to see the progress of each one's garden. Of course, I see hers because I visit her a couple of times a year. She has not made it down to GA since I moved here, too many logistics to work out right now so it's easier for me to visit her.

Well, we need to see more pictures here. Pictures of the farmers market, and of the garden etc.
I like to see how things are growing in other peoples gardens and what they are growing.

Okie dokie then! I'll take some pictures tomorrow at the farm. I thought I did post some pictures in my blog? I'll have to do more. And good idea about market. I guess I get too busy setting up and talking to people but I'll make sure I take some pictures this Saturday. Of course, right now they're predicting rain again!

Larry, your camera takes great photos. I have dslr and a point and shoot - as a matter of fact I have the same one @glengarry23 has. I love my point and shoot! I always take it along with me whether I'm going to take pictures at a park or in my own backyard. It's quick and dependable and takes great pics! I usually use my dslr for wildlife shots or long range photos. I always have my cellphone with me too, but it takes so-so shots.

I am wanting to take some long distance photos with my new camera, think I will go down to the lakes here in the neighborhood one day this week and try it out. There are normally some ducks or geese down there. I have wanted a DSLR camera for a long time, but buying the camera and the lens and the filters and ...etc. it just gets so expensive. Like you said too, I would probably end up taking my light weight, easy to use, point and shoot out to the garden any how.
