Jane,
Yours is definitely not Bountiful Harvest. Mine tends to start early within a week of my earliest IB's and TB's. It is a nice reliable rebloomer, but the first hard freeze date is not as reliable so sometimes freezes the buds if they show up in October. Note the distinct center line in the fall.

My Rare Treat is about to bloom. I don't remember it having so much purple in the standards. ?

When we left for Chicago Saturday morning, there were a couple of blooms and a lot of bloom stalks in my Iris beds.

When we pulled in the driveway late yesterday afternoon, there was an explosion of blooms waiting for me. It was incredible!!! I had time to walk around and take a look at most of them, but no time for photos.

I'll try to get that done today. May not be possible -- three days of relative inactivity aggravated the crap out of my back, so I may not be able to bend over enough to take good pictures. But -- typically -- I'm miserable in the morning and just fine in the afternoon. So we shall see.

But it was so exciting to see new Irises that I've never seen before -- and there are quite a few of those!!! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

OK -- I have uploaded yesterday's photos. There were over 140 of them Blinking Of course, some of them were tag photos so I'd remember which Iris was which!! But I'm going to have to do this in small batches. So today's pictures will be Irises new to me!

Oh those are nice!

I love "Dare Me".

I wanted to get "Out Walkin" from the PNW sale, but did not end up with it. But it seems I like it less than last year. I really like:

Celia -- I don't know if it increases well -- just planted it last fall. I'll put your name down in case it does. Smiling

Thanks Greg -- for whatever it's worth, that's not a great picture of Out Walkin. I'll try to get a better one. Also -- don't forget -- these are first-year blooms.

Also -- wanted to mention -- the colors on all of the above photos are washed out a little bit. They were in direct sunlight -- which has a tendency to lighten color. It was the only time of day that I had time to take those photos, though.
