That might be close enough! It would be about 130 miles from where the Whiting irises originated. Get her over here, we will give her a warm welcome!

I don't know about her NOIDs you have up now. The red one "could" be similar to Rosy Wings which is similar to a lot of other things too!!

Hi everyone,
Celia sent me over. It took me awhile to go thru all the pictures to see if I could match my no-ID's with yours.

I'll start with the newly identified.
The yellow, I think, is Sherwin Wright. We drove past the place we dug it from and there it was, still blooming.

The blue was rescued at the same time. Both multiply well. Could the blue be Princess Beatrice? It opens dark and over time fades to almost white.

This might be Your Rosy Wings Arlyn.

It also was still growing where we rescued it from. I haven't noted scent yet, but will do that. I need it for my notes anyway. I also need to take a tape measure out and see how tall it is.

Welcome! ! I agree (from what I can see of them) on Sherwin Wright, and Rosy Wings....and if you want some of each for "test plants" ,T-mail me.....not sure about "Princess Beatrice, though....it doesn't really look like mine (but, maybe mine is wrong Shrug! ), anyway, I'll think on that one, it does seem familiar.

Sally, ....How's about another member of the Royal Family ? Not a Princess, but a Queen ? I'm still 'looking", but Queen Caterina is mighty close ! I went out and took some pics of a "fresh" (though rained on, and wind blown) bloom, and also one that's faded.....what do you think ?

Welcome Sally.

Does look like Sherwin Wright, it is a short one with a long bloom season.
The other does not appear to be Princess Bea as she does not fade for me.

Hi Sally -- Welcome! Hope that you decide to stick around after your mystery Irises are identified!! We're a fun group -- men doing rain dances in pink tutus -- drunken shotgun parties blasting undesireable Irises to smithereens -- yup, we're where it's at!!! nodding

Linnea -- I'm glad to hear that your Ebay seller was an honest one! Thumbs up

It's a SIB, Neal....and a very "small" flowered one. It is a real looker, isn't it ?! This is the first I've seen it bloom, but I really like it ! I need to get back to that garden today, for more pictures....Snow Queen was on the verge of opening, too .
