It may turn out to be too much true blue here, we'll see. I've occasionally gotten that way about certain pink things and had to pull them out...lol..Coleonema / diosma, love the white flowered form, hate the pink...fortunately I did bring two large white flowered ones up here with me, all I've seen sold around here is the pink.

Catching up with May..Pelargonium sidoides in bloom. Somehow can't make this plant grow bigger..seems content being small. Or maybe it is too crowded in the container by my other Pels. Anyways, glad it is still here Smiling

bex (rebeccanne, rebeccag) says she grew the e. gentianoides at her place 45 miles farther north and it didn't make it. I have the 11 or so that made it through the winter here, but we only had maybe half the amount of rain that was received here before the last several years.

Looks rather like a kalanchoe / Mother of Thousands...

Oh, again thank you so much, Sherry. It does like a Mother of Thousands... and so the tiny new growth at leaf tip is its "plantlet" (baby?), not bud (sadly it won't produce significant bloom as an indoor plant). Well, as it is now seen only two of the Thousands, nothing is very dramatic.. but hope it will keep coming.

I could be wrong, that was just my first impression. Many years ago, in Davenport, Iowa, there was this old junk shop, with the standard two bay shop windows (dusty, looking like it had not been cleaned in years) facing onto the street and there was this humongous Mother of Thousands filling the one bay, I'd never seen anything like it. I still think of it as "The Little Shop of Horrors"....lol....

Rose 'Seven Sisters' only blooms once a year for me. I think it is the heat. It seems like it bloomed all summer for my dad in PA.

Love in a mist was planted intentionally somewhere that I don't remember. Now it comes up wherever it wants but isn't a thug. Originally I had blue, pink, and white. I purged out all of the pink ones and the white ones died out on their own. That's o.k. I like the blue the best.
