Tiffany, I thought of you as soon as I saw it.
I know you and I are the purple pink girls. I always do a purple/pink pot for the summer. I picked it up at a local flower shop that basic business is selling all occasion live plant/flower baskets. They have a little area that they sell the small plants that they do not use in the baskets. I have been able to get more unusual rarely sold houseplants at this nursery. I have been tempted to buy some of their baskets but they are above my willing to pay price. They start at 100.00 I am way to cheap for those prices for plants I may kill.
Lin I have the Variegated Oyster Plant it suffers badly under my care in the winter. I have lost it 2 times in the winter but I always replace that plant when I find it for sale. I picked it up again last year it was so pretty all summer. When I put it outside this year it is small but looks like it is going to recover. It does not like a lot of water in the winter and it also does not like the less amount of water I give it in the winter. I cannot get that just right water want for it for the winter.
The Maiden's Blush' I have purchased twice as a garden plant because it was said to be hardy for my zone but both times it died.
The Tradescantia fluminensis 'Tri-color' I have not seen in the retail market since my mother's indoor houseplant days. I think that is one of those plants that they do not think as the cool houseplant these days.
