For anyone who is interested, Maryott's has over 200 daylilies on sale plus you can still get their weekly bonus plant for an order or addition over $75. Along with a few other little goodies, I just picked up three of his 2010 introductions (EXOTIC DESIGN, WINNER'S TROPHY and COMPETITION) for an incredibly low price. COMPETITION is the gift plant for this week, and it changes every week.

I just received and planted my big order from Maryott's a week and a half ago, and today I realized I have 4 scapes coming up. One of them is about 18" tall and already has 3 branches and more than a dozen buds! Amazing! How does he do it?

Maryotts is amazing. I ordered two daylilies from him which I just got my order today. So double bogo so you get the extra. Then you get the weekly special. Then he sends me five extra bonus daylilies. Unbelievable. I ended up with a box of daylilies. How does he ever make any money like this?

I was a busy girl planting my daylilies. So I know you are saying how did she plant them when their is no room left? Well, I dug out some others I had intended to shovel prune anyway. Plus some are not planted like I will give the bogo to my friend and did plant mine. Then he gave me THREE plants of CHORAL FANTASY as another bonus and I already have that one. And one bonus of HOT LAVA and I have that one also already too. So my friend gets those as well as the bogo.

I have to laugh. Bill supplies daylilies for the entire neighborhood from my little order Hurray! Thumbs up

You know, in the last 3-4 weeks I received 42 plants from Bill Maryott, 16 of which were bonus plants -- and I now have 17 of them that either have scapes coming up or already up, or that have already bloomed! I've had four of them bloom now. It's like daylily season is starting all over again for me! Yea!!!

I honestly don't know how he manages to be this generous and how he gets them to bloom right away. Must be magic. Whistling

Well I was new to not only gardening but to OH as well. I love gardening and got bitten by the "daylily bug"! Anyway, I placed a rather large order from Maryott's earlier this year. I tried to get a variety. Only 1 has bloomed out so far and that's Champagne Time. Here's the others that I ordered. I can hardly wait til they bloom!

Purple Maze
Frank's Star of Bethlehem
Memories Remain
Collaboration
Color Fusion
Annabelle Blush
Fiesta Flirt
Exotic Design
Strikingly Dramatic
Red Slippers
Rodelinda
Spoced Custard
Calming Effect
Kazoo
Purple Pashmina
Arrive in Style

I saw so many that I just loved but honestly don't have the room for them here. We bought a small house and the yard is not that big. Grumbling Crying DH told me if I order anymore daylillies or flowers we would have to dig up any grass that we have left which isn't much! Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Anyway, the only that has bloomed so far is Champagne Time. I'm so hoping the rest will bloom as well!

Wow, nice list! Fantastic selections! I am surprised that you got so many evergreens though, I hope they do OK for you. Many of the northern folks stick with the northern grown dormant daylilies. I am sure Juli and others who live in the northern states can give you tips on how to winter them over.
I love Purple Maze, it's been on my wish list for a while...some day. Thumbs up

Yes, I went and ordered all these before Juli! So much was done here before Juli came to my rescue! I think I'll just shorten that up to BJ (Before Juli) ! Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing Rolling on the floor laughing

Anyway, still not sure about the difference so any suggestions any of you have for overwintering would be most appreciated!
